Huaibao 3-Day City Walk Guide | Exploring the Hidden Miao Homeland in Rongshui
Overview
Huaibao Town is located in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, nestled in the heart of the Jiuwan Mountains along the middle reaches of the Bei River. About 30 kilometers from Rongshui County seat, it's a mountainous town predominantly inhabited by the Miao people (over 40%) alongside multiple ethnic minorities. There are no commercialized attractions here — only the purest Miao and Dong village charm: lusheng reed-pipe dances, oil tea ceremonies, terraced rice fields, and primeval forests. Huaibao is an undiscovered gem in the mountains of northern Guangxi.
