Day 1: Guilin City — Karst Wonders

Midday: Reed Flute Cave

Guilin's most spectacular cave. Colorful lights transform stalactites into "Crystal Palace" and "Lion Forest." Constant 20°C — perfect summer escape.
Afternoon: Elephant Trunk Hill
Getting there: Walkable from city center Admission: Free
Guilin's iconic landmark — a 55m hill shaped like an elephant drinking from the Li River. Climb to Puxian Tower for panoramic views.
Evening: Sun and Moon Pagodas
Getting there: 10-min walk along Binjiang Road Admission: Free (climb ¥35)
Twin pagodas on Shan Lake. Plain by day, stunning when lit up after 7 PM — Guilin's signature night view.

650 years of Zhuang and Yao minority craftsmanship — terraces spiraling from valley floor to mountaintop.
Two viewing areas:
- Jinkeng Dazhai (Red Yao): Larger scale, cable car available (¥55 one way). Xishan Shaoluo viewpoint for sunrise.
- Ping'an Zhuang Village: Classic "Seven Stars Accompanying Moon" and "Nine Dragons Five Tigers" viewpoints.

Millennium-old riverside town. The ¥20 viewpoint is right here. Try local specialties: Li River shrimp, stuffed snails.
Afternoon: Yangshuo Ten-Mile Gallery

Cycle along the Yulong River:
- Big Banyan Tree: 1,400-year-old tree, Liu Sanjie singing spot

Evening: West Street, Yangshuo
