Overview
Wuzhou, eastern gateway of Guangxi and cradle of Lingnan culture. The Xun and Gui Rivers merge here — one turbid, one clear — forming the famed "Mandarin Duck River." Lonely Planet calls its Qilou arcades "China's largest surviving arcade complex." Three days through arcade streets, up Baiyun Mountain, sipping legendary soy milk and paper-wrapped chicken.

Morning: Wuzhou Qilou Arcade City (free)
China's largest preserved arcade complex — 22 streets, 560 buildings. Stroll Danan Road, Dazhong Road, Sifang Road.
Afternoon: Dragon Mother Temple (free)
Oldest temple in Wuzhou, birthplace of Lingnan Dragon Mother worship.

Wuzhou is the home of Liubao dark tea. Visit plantations, taste aged teas.
