Anshun — western Guizhou's tourism hub. Huangguoshu is Asia's largest waterfall (101m wide, 77.8m drop) — the only waterfall viewable from six directions. Longgong — Guizhou's longest water cave, boat through underground rivers. Tianlong Tunpu preserves 600-year-old Ming Dynasty military garrison culture — people still speak Ming-era Mandarin and wear Ming Dynasty clothing. Anshun is also an underrated food city.
Day 1: Huangguoshu Waterfall (160+50 RMB, full day)
Asia's largest waterfall — viewable from above, below, front, back, left, right. Water Curtain Cave walks behind the waterfall. Rhinoceros Pool rainbow at noon on sunny days. Tianxingqiao scenic area (stone forest maze). Doupotang Waterfall (Journey to the West filming location). 5-6 hours. 1h from Anshun.
Day 2: Longgong Cave (130 RMB) → Jiuzhou Ancient Town (free)
China's longest water cave — 15km, boat through 5 cave sections. Longmen waterfall inside cave (38m drop). Rapeseed flower fields forming giant "Dragon" character. Then Jiuzhou Ancient Town — 600 years old, Anshun's food capital: chicken with chili (15-25 RMB), rice cake with rose sugar (3-5 RMB), wrap rolls (3-5 RMB).
Day 3: Tianlong Tunpu (60 RMB) → Departure
600-year-old Ming Dynasty military settlement. Descendants still wear Ming Dynasty clothing ("Fengyang Han dress") and speak Ming-era Mandarin. Dixi mask dance (national ICH). Step into the Ming Dynasty.
HSR: Guiyang 30min, Kunming 2h. Budget: 600-1200 economy, 1500-2500 comfortable.
