🚶 Day 1: Spring Soul — Baotu Spring → Wulongtan → Daming Lake → Chaoran Tower Night
8:00-10:00 | Baotu Spring (¥40) "Number One Spring Under Heaven" — Emperor Qianlong's inscription. Three streams gush 24/7 from the pool bottom. Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall inside. Bring empty bottle to drink spring water at Du Kang Spring!
10:30-11:30 | Wulongtan (Free) — Koi-filled emerald pool opposite Baotu Spring. Feed fish with bread.
13:00-16:30 | Daming Lake (Free area) — "Do you remember Xia Yuhe by Daming Lake?" — Jinan's largest natural lake. Lotus flowers, willow banks, painted boats. Lao She Memorial Hall on site.
19:00-20:30 | Chaoran Tower Night View — Lights up at 7PM, golden reflections on lake. Then stroll Qushuiting Street with its flowing streams and cafés.
🚶 Day 2: Mountain & Culture — Thousand Buddha Mountain → Shandong Museum → Black Tiger Spring
8:00-11:00 | Thousand Buddha Mountain (¥30) — One of Jinan's Big Three. 130+ Sui-Tang Buddhist carvings. Summit viewpoint overlooks entire city. Cable car ¥30 up, walk down.
13:00-16:00 | Shandong Museum (Free, reservation needed) — Provincial museum standout. Must-see: 4,000-year-old eggshell-thin black pottery cup (0.2mm!), Lu State jade bi, adorable Shang Dynasty bronze axe.
17:00-19:00 | Black Tiger Spring (Free, no walls) — Jinan's 2nd largest spring. Water pours from 3 stone tiger heads. Locals come to collect water — bring a bottle! Adjacent Jiefang Pavilion overlooks moat.
🚶 Day 3: Deep Culture — Pearl Spring → Wangfu Pool → Hongjialou Church → Old Concession
8:30-10:00 | Pearl Spring (Free, inside govt compound) — 3rd most famous spring. Bubbles rise like strings of pearls. Few tourists, serene.
10:00-11:00 | Wangfu Pool (Free) — Hidden in old hutongs, was Ming Dynasty prince's private pool. "Every home has springs, every door has willows."
13:00-14:30 | Hongjialou Catholic Church (Free) — North China's largest Gothic cathedral (1905). Twin spires, stunning stained glass.
15:00-17:30 | Old Concession Area — Century-old Western-Chinese fusion architecture along Jingsan Road. Jiaoji Railway Museum (free), photo-worthy heritage buildings.
