💡 Most striking feature: its vastness — standing lakeside, you can't see the opposite shore, like an ocean.

🚶 Day 2: Hutoo Fortress + Zhenbao Island — WWII History
Morning: Hutoo Fortress (¥50, ~2.5h drive) WWII's last battlefield:
- Underground Fortress: Japanese military tunnels 30m deep, "Eastern Maginot Line"
- Museum: Japanese Kwantung Army war crimes, Far East WWII history
- Fell on Aug 26, 1945 — 11 days AFTER Japan's surrender. WWII's true final battle.
Afternoon: Zhenbao Island (distant view) — 1969 Sino-Soviet border conflict site, Ussuri River views
