Full Day: Karakul Lake (¥50, Akto County, G314 Karakoram Highway) Pamir's most beautiful lake — 3,600m altitude, turquoise water reflecting Muztagh Ata (7,509m) and Kongur (7,649m). On clear days, two 7,000m+ peaks perfectly mirrored — "Pamir's Most Beautiful Reflection."
Experiences: Gaze at "Father of Ice Mountains" (dome-shaped white giant), lakeside reflections (best at dawn/dusk), yak photo rides (¥20-30), stay in Kirgiz yurt (¥80-150/night). 3.5h from Kashgar via G314. Passes Oytag Red Valley en route. Altitude 3,600m — altitude awareness. Night temps below freezing — bring down jacket even in summer.
Day 2: Oytag Red Valley → Atush Tianmen

Afternoon: Atush Tianmen (¥45, Artux City) World's highest natural stone arch — ~260m tall, ~100m wide stone arch on barren hills. "Gate of Heaven" — recommended by American "Adventure" magazine as one of 20 most spectacular geological wonders. 1.5h from Oytag. 1h from Artux (4WD for last stretch).
Day 3: Artux Bazaar → Departure
Morning: Artux Bazaar (Free, Sunday best) Southern Xinjiang's most authentic bazaar — Sunday market draws herders from hundreds of kilometers. Traditional Kirgiz and Uyghur handicrafts, livestock trading, Xinjiang foods.
Departure: Artux only 40km from Kashgar — fly from Kashgar Airport nationwide.
